Sarah has a B.A in photography and art history from Lycoming College and a M.F.A. in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Having an interest in photography from an early age, Sarah's work explores the construct of personal identity in relation to gender, place and family.
Professional experiences include head of the printing department for a SoHo retouching studio, assistant teaching and guest lecturer, and Custom Lab Technician for the Maine Media Workshops.
Available for shows, sales, commissions, event photography and freelance print and Photoshop consulting. Originally from Connecticut, Sarah now lives in Durham, NC where she is a full-time photography faculty at The Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham
